Normally I don't follow beauty trends but as I was flipping through my February Vogue I saw an ad by L'Oreal Paris featuring the hottest coral lipstick! I can not get over this trend for Spring 2011! I couldn't resist sharing it! We're going to be seeing luscious lips in a variety of colors from coral to tangerine orange and Barbie pink to a sexy siren red! We are so proud to present the world-renowned designers that will present their couture lines this October 29th at Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week.

FINAL LINE-UP IS AS FOLLOWS:

Friday night October 29th, will be a night full of couture and elegance. Headlining this VIP Reception will be the famous designer Carolina Herrrera, who has mesmerized the world with her prestigious designs and is known as one of the most elegant women of this era.

In conjunction to Carolina Herrera, will be the lifestyle brand of Elie Tahari who will be featuring the 2010 ready-to-wear fall collection designed for today’s woman. Most importantly, FFW is a production that prides itself with local talent and offers a stage for The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s alumni. Therefore, joining these mega brands will be the talented Eduardo de las Casas who now is premiering on Bravos hit series “The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection” and whose designs are lauded by their distinctive feel which are directly influenced by his latin culture. In addition, Rosita Hurtado a Bolivian designer and alumni of AIFL will be featuring her beautiful line, which has been seen on many latin stars at the red carpet. Finally, we will be featuring the talented Paul Raymond who has created quite a buzz in Orlando and internationally, as seen on Bravo and other fashion magazines and articles.

This line up is set up to provide the most glamorous and talked about evening in regards to high-end fashion and new talent…So where will be this fabulous show? At no other than the Fashionable W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

10.10.10 we will be the casting for Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week Models! This is your chance to walk the runway for the BEST in the Fashion industry such as CAROLINA HERRERA, ELIE TAHARI, LILLY PULITZER, LF, ROSITA HURTADO, and EDUARDO DE LAS CASAS. The casting will be held at the W hotel in Fort Lauderdale in Studio 7 (second floor).

Please be advised women should be 5’9 plus, and men should be 6’0. Hope to see all you amazing models there!

GFA had a fantastic time collaborating with Award Winning Fashion Designer Jacinta Ligon for her latest promotional photo-shoot. Along with photographer Tim Detert. The GFA team did the make-up and hair for the project. GFA and Jacinta Ligon are planning another photo shoot in the near future.

Inca Fashion Show

Hello Fashion World!

On thursday July 16th 2009 GFA helped produce the Inca exclusive fashion show at Miami's new hot spot the W Hotel. Inca is a posh clothing and swim-wear store located in the Gansevoort hotel miami. Feature model Cindy Taylor was a star on the runway and the fabulous models from Willamina modeling agency made the fashion show a spectacular event. Here is a short video of the finale!

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Hello Everyone!

The members of GFA have been extremely busy and have greatly enjoyed its involvement in Miami's premiere fashion week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Co-founder of GFA, Jackie Brennan, was the assistant director for the True Religion fashion show friday July 17th and the Ed Hardy fashion show on saturday July 18th 2009. We are honored and proud to be apart of such a special events. The shows were are great success! check out the video on you tube here!

Summer Salon

Hello Everyone,

We would like to update you on our latest projects at Global Fashion Agency. In June Global Fashion Agency help put together a fashion show in Miami for MODE Lifestyle Magazine. The event was called Summer Salon and the proceeds benefited the charity Neat Stuff Inc. Neat Stuff Inc is a South Florida non-profit organization, which donates new clothes and shoes to children kids need.

Our Agency provided numerous services for this event including, PR, graphic design, runway production, make up- artist, dressers, fashion designers, as well as providing some of the models. The event was a smash hit and the audience was ecstatic when feature designer Nathan Carter’s finally dress hit the runway. Check out some of the photography of the event provided by DALTZ.
